Your Inner Child Is Calling, and She Has Something to Teach You.  Are You Game?

  • How often does the spirit of your 5-year old Self come out to play?

  • What do you remember about the freedom of that play?

  • How would you like to regain that freedom and sense of self now that you are all grown up?

Once Upon a Time

The games you played as a child were pure entertainment. Hidden between jumping the rope and coloring the cartoons were life lessons you didn't yet know.  You were just having lots of fun. Your energy was unstoppable.  You expressed yourself eagerly and honestly, as your True Self. You proudly wore your authenticity like a badge.  Play was spontaneous, enjoyable, and creative.

Then What Happened?

Life got in the way, much of it appearing as work.  Work as parent, spouse, employee, boss, decision-maker, disciplinarian, breadwinner, volunteer, and all the other roles in between.

At some point, your life became “about the work.”  And somewhere along the way, maybe you forgot how to play.  Oh, you have fun times, and you do occasionally go out "to take a break."  But how often do you play with pure abandon like your 5-year old Self once did?

Wait a Minute!

What’s that you say?  It’s been a while?  You miss that child?  The child who could think for herself before she became enmeshed in the thoughts and opinions and beliefs of others who said they knew better?  The child who naturally showed feelings and emotions without wondering what someone else thought?  The child who didn't have the stress of balancing all the other priorities that “must” be taken care of?

I Understand

As the fifth of six kids in my family, I always had an available playmate. To dangle with from the monkey bars. To beat me at Candyland®. To ride the one bike we shared. My little girl had fun!  As I grew older, though, life became a game of confusion, a bit of a Hide and Go Seek for me. I hid a lot. Behind my "shyness."  Behind the stories I invented to disguise my Truth. Behind the fear of being found out.

Over time, I began to chat with my Inner Child. She reminded me to pay attention to her intuitive advice. She assured me that I was OK just the way I was, and that I could make my own choices. She taught me to be more assertive. She showed me how a playfully, emotionally mature attitude could restore my zest and zing with every breath I took.

You Can Go There Again

Play is not just for children; it never has been. Rediscover your inner child that has grown up seeing the world through different eyes.  Hear what she has to say about how your fears are holding you back.  Listen as she explains how putting your heart into everything you do can create greater insights and self-awareness.

Games Children Play, and What Adults Can Learn From Them, is a workshop for women who want to bring more laughter, creativity, and joy into their lives. This workshop is ideal for women who are literally tired of the stress that consumes their days, leaving little time for making their dreams come true. It's designed especially for you if you are ready to drop your guard, be a bit vulnerable, and experience some personal growth in the course of a few hours.

What’s In It For You, You Ask?

Three hours of playtime, blended with activities that bring your inner child and your adult woman together in conversation that is conscious, imaginative, and reflective.  Play like you did before you knew how to tell time.  Listen to what your child and adult want to learn from each other. Restore vitality and purpose to each living moment.

From your child's eye, you will see how all the busyness, and quite frankly, the frustration, can melt away with a simple shift of perception.  With a few simple tools, you can turn a stressful moment into a time of calm, an "Uh-oh" into an "Aha!," and an old, unrewarding habit into a supportive new way of thinking.

Tap into your authentic and True Self, and learn to:

  • Let go of what’s not working for you.

  • Be a Champion over your Victim.

  • Ask for what you want and need.

  • Manage your stress, even when chaos rules.

  • Turn obstacles into opportunities.

  • Live and speak in free expression.

  • Choose resilience over giving up.
